Honest Boiler Repair
As we all know, boilers are susceptible to breaking down – especially when they are getting older. Our knowledgeable Registered Gas Engineers will be able to survey the situation and make any possible repairs to get you back up and running with your heating and hot water in no time.
Boiler Breakdowns
If your boiler suddenly breaks down, you will need a trustworthy Gas Engineer to sort out the problem. When you call us at Fix It Right, we will always discuss the issue over the phone prior to a visit being made. This allows us to extract as much information from you as we can. If the fault sounds like a common one, we are then able to potentially arrive with the part required, to avoid a second visit being necessary.
In a bid to be transparent prior to arriving, we will always make any call-out cost clear, including for the first hour of work. On arrival, we will carry out a tightness test to establish whether there is a gas leak. The next step would be to do a visual check of the boiler, pipework and flue for any signs of damage or deterioration before investigating the issue.
Repairing Your Boiler
Our Gas Engineers will do a thorough investigation to identify the fault, should it not be immediately obvious. This will include a:
Resistance Check
Gas Pressure Check
Fan Pressure Check
Blockages Check
Expansion Vessel Check
Our Gas Engineers will have access to individual manufacturers’ fault-finding information if required.
We are committed to repairing your boiler whenever possible. The repair process will be clearly explained to you, along with the cost involved. However, if the boiler is deemed irreparable, is very old, or the repair cost is high and we don’t think it will be a cost-effective option for you, we will always be honest. In this case, we may recommend that you need a new boiler installation.
